There’s Bob and the group of folks that gravitate to his site and then there’s Madam Chang.
I don’t think the two ever met. In fact I know they haven’t - Bob never goes to Manila (can’t blame him there); Madam Chang may have never gotten out of Manila (frankly, I can’t blame her either).
Both are real. And I can, Zen-like, identify with both.
But I sleep better when my head is wrapped up in Bob’s world.

Here in Bukidnon we have a lot of brownouts at odd times it seems to me - in the evenings and on weekends. But then, I really dont know anything about the outages. Which is really the point I, as a customer, want to make.

Finally - I’ve got a community-editable calendar going for the Philippine energy sector.
Take a look at it here. Click on an day or item to get more detail. It’s accessible, also, through the front page of the Asian Energy Advisors Public Wiki.
I’ve seeded it with the ERC Hearings and PubCons scheduled and certain PSALM asset bid deadlines. Jane will help me keep the ERC schedules updated as the ERC releases updates on their website.
But anyone can add or edit items on the calendar - if you first log into the wiki itself. For example, any energy conferences you are aware of could go onto the calendar. If you’re aware that a date has changed, go ahead and make the change.
You can also subscribe to the calendar with iCal and Google Calendar and have it feed into your own calendars. That’s what I’m doing. There is, of course, an RSS feed also if you want to keep up with newly posted items.
Unfortunately, U.S. Holidays are embedded in the calendar for some reason.
